Ik moet zeggen, de samenvatting klinkt al heel erg leuk en ik kan niet wachten om dit boek in mijn handen te krijgen. Gelukkig hoef ik niet te lang te wachten want morgen komt hij al uit! Het is een late Waiting on Wednesday, ik ben net begonnen met een nieuwe baan die me lichtelijk druk bezig houdt. Gelukkig zijn er dan boeken als Nameless, waardoor ik me thuis even lekker kan ontspannen!

Eindelijk! Volgende week komt het laatste deel van de Gone-serie uit. Ik heb zo lang mogelijk gewacht met het lezen van 'Fear' (het vijfde deel uit de serie), om nog maar niet al te erg te hoeven hunkeren naar dit boek. 'Light' gaat een antwoord geven op de vraag of alle overgebleven kinderen Perdido Beach zullen verlaten en hoe ze dat zullen doen. 'Fear' eindigde eindigde met spannende twist, en ik denk dat ik ook voor Emma kan spreken als ik zeg dat wij niet kunnen wachten om dit boek te lezen!

Ik zag de cover van dit boek op Goodreads en was meteen erg nieuwsgierig naar de inhoud. Het idee van een parallelle wereld spreekt me erg aan, en ik ben erg benieuwd naar Abby en hoe ze met haar nieuwe leven omgaat. Ook vraag ik me af hoe het verhaal verteld wordt. Het is nog even wachten tot half mei, maar dit klinkt als een boek wat ik niet mag missen.

Het is al weer een tijdje geleden dat ik een boek over vampiers gelezen heb. The Girl from Yesterday lijkt mij wel interessant, omdat het verhaal zich in een andere wereld afspeelt. Vampiers zijn in dit boek in de meerderheid en de mens is hun slaaf. Ik ben benieuwd hoe de ingevroren Ashlyn hiermee om zal gaan en wat ze allemaal zal meemaken. Ik hoop dat ze haar mannetje staat in een wereld vol vampieren.

De cover ziet er fantastisch uit en ik ben erg benieuwd naar de inhoud van het boek. Het schijnt dat Options een urban fantasy/young adult boek is, dus ik verwacht wel wat vreemde wezens of paranormale invloeden te vinden in dit boek. Ik ben erg nieuwsgierig naar de wegen waar de hoofdpersoon uit kan kiezen en wat ze zal tegenkomen wanneer ze deze wegen bewandeld.

Ahhh, dit is mijn serie. Bij deze serie kan ik mijn verstand op nul zetten en genieten van de romantiek, de gevechten, de mysteries en natuurijk Merit en haar vriendjes. Vooral Merit vind ik als karakter enorm gegroeid en ik ben haar steeds meer gaan waarderen. Ook de vrienden van Merit vind ik erg leuk, al word er niet altijd evenveel aandacht aan ze besteedt (jammer!).

De serie is uitgegeven in verschillende talen, helaas nog niet in het Nederlands. Wie weet komt dat nog! Het is namelijk wel een heel populaire serie.

Ik heb na het lezen van boek 6 in ieder geval enorm zin in het volgende deel! Geen twijfel aan mogelijk dat ik deze serie zal afmaken! Heerlijk!

De cover sprak me niet zo heel erg aan, maar ik was erg benieuwd naar dit boek toen ik de titel zag. Ik ben gek op sprookjes, dus een school waarin sprookjesfiguren opgeleid worden tot hun goede of slechte zelf lijkt me echt super! Vooral het feit dat de twee hoofdpersonen in een heel andere school komen dan waarin ze verwachten terecht te komen, geeft een unieke draai aan het verhaal. Ik ben erg benieuwd naar de lessen en de andere personages die in het boek voor gaan komen. Misschien is dit wel de nieuwe Harry Potter?

Misschien is het de winter, maar ik merk dat ik steeds meer behoefte heb aan romantiek in mijn boeken. The Winter Witch lijkt hier aan te voldoen! Ik heb nog nooit van de schrijfster gehoord, maar de recensies van haar andere boeken klinken allemaal erg mooi. Het lijkt me een heerlijk boek om lekker weg te dromen, dat hebben we nodig in deze koude wintermaanden!

Als liefhebber van Young Adult boeken over mythologie, is dit natuurlijk een boek wat ik erg graag wil lezen. De samenvatting van Goodreads maakt me nieuwsgierig naar de krachten van de drie meiden en wat ze ermee gaan doen. Ik ben ook benieuwd of er liefde in het boek voorkomt en of dat onderlinge strubbelingen tussen de meiden teweegbrengt. Ook hoop ik dat er nog meer personages uit de Griekse mythologie in het boek voorkomen. Ik kan in ieder geval niet wachten!

Soms heb je wel eens zin in iets romantisch. Maar bij mij is een voorwaarde dan wel dat het een verhaal is met romantiek, geen seks met ook hier en daar een verhaal. Dit lijkt me een leuke, bij het woordje 'con' oftewel oplichterij, begonnen mijn oogjes te glimmen. Dat wordt drama! Ze heeft eigenlijk met Brendan, maar door de bedriegerij wordt ze verliefd op iemand anders. Ik ben enorm benieuwd naar deze persoon, ik denk dat dit een heel grappig en aansprekend boek gaat worden! Sadie lijkt me een sterk en slim karakter, die misschien iets te ver gaat voor geld. We zullen het gaan zien!

Een boek met een game-element, dystopie en romantiek! Dat klinkt mij als muziek in de oren. Het verhaal lijkt zich af te spelen in het heden en roept flink wat vragen op. Waarom stuurt Pandora's vader haar naar een mysterieuze site? En waarom activeert dit spel een computervirus? Ik ben erg benieuwd naar de personages en hun verhaal. Doomed lijkt mij een enorm spannend boek en ik kan niet wachten om het te mogen lezen!

Wie kent deze nieuwe serie niet! Het eerste deel 'Het Genootschap van de Nacht' is een mysterieuze boek, waar je lichtelijk bang word en bij alles twijfels krijgt. Bij het zien van deel twee krijg ik meteen vlinders in mijn buik. Ik moet dit boek lezen!

De serie gaat over Allie, de probleemtiener die er echt een potje van maakt. Wanneer de maat vol is en ze naar een kostschool voor probleemjongeren gestuurd wordt begint het boek pas echt. Er gebeuren namelijk rare en enge dingen op deze school en dit overdrijf ik niet. 

Begin januari komt dit boek in het Engels uit en er wordt op de site van C.J. Daugherty gezegd dat het kort daarna in Nederland uit zal komen. Dus voor alle Nederlands lezers.. lees deel 1 nu en je hoeft helemaal niet lang te wachten op deel 2 van deze nieuwe spannende en verrassende serie. Echt een aanrader!

Boeken over Reapers zijn voor mij nogal een nieuw gegeven. Ik heb nog niet eerder een boek over Reapers gelezen, dus ik ben benieuwd naar de krachten die de hoofdpersoon heeft. De samenvatting klinkt erg goed en het lijkt me een spannend boek om te lezen. 

Normaal lees ik  niet zo graag boeken waar zombies in voorkomen, omdat ik zombies stiekem een beetje eng vind. Het lijkt me dat dit niet de focus van het boek is en dat er genoeg spannende dingen in het boek voorkomen, die ervoor zorgen dat ik dit boek helemaal te gek kan vinden. 

Ik vind het altijd leuk om te lezen over speciale opleidingen die personages moeten volgen om hun krachten onder controle te krijgen en ik ben benieuwd naar haar persoonlijke begeleider die haar schijnt te haten. Ook vraag ik me af of er wat mythologie in dit boek voorkomt, omdat er in de samenvatting staat dat ze door de hel heen moet. 

Kortom, ik ben erg benieuwd naar dit boek en wat er allemaal in voor komt. Het komt deze maand al uit, dus ik hoef in ieder geval niet lang te wachten.
